For this project, I created a mockup branding design for the luxury fashion brand, Hermes to include an obvious audience for their beautifully patterned scarves. ‘Be Seen’ is a slogan I attached to this design to unapologetically display Muslim women proudly being themselves.

Dinos in Motion is a rebranding project for an actual Dinosaur exhibit that goes by the same name. My goal with this project was to push back at sexism within the field of Paleontology and display leading women, such as Dr. Ikuenobe. The design for this project was meant to create a more approachable exhibit for young girls to see themselves and people who look like them working in the field.

HomeMade is a mockup project made with HEB and their shoppers in mind. It is designed to streamline dinners for busy families or even individuals looking for easy prep, home cooked meals.

Chirp is a prototype for a children’s field guide of birds. Although the field guide is a physical object, it pairs with an AR experience by scanning a QR code for each bird. Kids would be able to hear sounds of each bird, see how they fly and move, and also study their feathers up close while also reading a humorous account of a bird’s behaviors.

The Science of Change is a prototype for an interactive kit for teens experiencing changes in their life. The kit is divided into four parts: Embarrassment, Loneliness, Power, Metamorphosis, and Identity. Teens are able to navigate each kit as they need by taking individual chapters out. Each chapter contains a tool that pairs with the story in the booklet to help the reader make connections.

Not Gross is a book prototype for kids that makes unfamiliar critters more interesting and not gross. The book contains informative pull out tabs, textured pages, and rotating features to help show the life of a snail. The information in the book not only breaks down difficult information, but teaches young readers about ecology and how to be a respectful observer.
